Appeal to the free world
On behalf of the Executive Council of Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, we condemn the hostile statements and threats against our regions by Turkish president.
Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, Erdogan has been trying to cut off parts of Syria and attach them to Turkey. He wants to restore the borders of the Mullah Charter. Erdogan’s goal is not the north and east of Syria, but the Syrian territorial unit. At the time when IS utter their last breath in Deir ez-Zor, Erdogan is trying, through his threats, to invade Syria to ease them and prolong their life. The goal of the Turkish state is also to strike at the Syrian social fabric and the co-existence in northern and eastern Syria.
These hostile statements target the gains made by the countries of the International Coalition in the fight against terrorism and eliminating it in the last stronghold and target the state of security and safety that the Syrian people began to live in the east of the Euphrates, and this is what the current Turkish regime does not want.
Therefore, we, as the DAA of North and East Syria appeal to the international community, led by the United Nations and the International Alliance to take an attitude against Erdogan’s aggressive plans because this is a violation of international law and a state of occupation. We call upon the countries participating in NATO to stand against Erdogan’s policies, as it is contrary to the principles of the Alliance as it targets an area that poses no security threat to it.We also call on the Syrian government to take an official position against this threat because Erdogan wants to occupy a part of Syria and this means an attack on Syrian sovereignty.
We also appeal to the democratic forces in the region and the world to support the will of our peoples and to unite with us against IS backed by Erdogan and to stand against the genocide that Erdogan has declared against us.We, as DAA in the north and east of Syria, declare the general alarm and call on all honorable Syrians to stand united against the colonial policies of the Turkish state. Today is the day to dedicate all our energies to protect our land, our people. We must do everything in our power to preserve the unity of our land and the unity and fraternity of our peoples.”
