Heavy clashes between US-backed SDF and ISIS continues in western Tabqa

US-backed SDF took control of Raqqa-Damascus Highway

TABQA (ANF) – The US-backed and YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue their operation to liberate the Tabqa town and Euphrates Dam for the 13th day. Heavy clashes are taking place between SDF fighters and ISIS gangs to the west of the town.

The Tabqa town 40 km southwest of Raqqa is besieged by Syrian Democratic Forces.

On the other hand, Wrath of Euphrates fighters have repelled the ISIS attacks on the town of Karama to the east of Raqqa. No detail is available yet regarding the results of the clashes in this area.
