Turkish-led attacks on Manbij repelled, 37 terrorists killed

MANBIJ – The US-backed fighters of the Manbij Military Council repelled Turkish army and jihadist attacks on Ulashli village in west Manbij. 37 gang members are reported to have been killed.

On Tuesday morning the occupying Turkish army and backed gangs carried out attacks on the village Ulashli, 29 kilometres west of Manbij. Positions of the Manbij Military Council fighters in the villages Jibildem and Sinjar were attacked simultaneously. Heavy clashes broke out after fighters responded to attacks.

Attacks were repelled after clashes intensively continued until Tuesday night. 37 gang members were killed whilst fighters seized many gang bodies. Some bodies still reportedly remain in the fighting zone. Fighters have for now for the time being formed silence in the region.
