Two Turkish soldiers killed, eight wounded in Mardin

MARDIN (KDN) – Two Turkish soldiers were killed and eight others were injured on Sept. 26 in an early morning attack carried out by Kurdish forces in the Derik district of the southeastern Kurdish province of Mardin, Turkey’s Doğan News Agency has reported.

Kurdish fighters remotely detonated an explosive placed on the Kızıltepe-Derik motorway during the passing of a civilian-plated minibus carrying soldiers at around 9:20 a.m. near Tepedağ village.

Two soldiers were killed and another eight were wounded in the attack, according to initial reports.
