28 specialist sergeants of Turkish army refusing to fight the Kurds in Sur resign

AMED (ANF) – 28 specialist sergeants serving under the command of Brigadier General Aydoğan Aydın have resigned from duty refusing to participate in the operation in Amed’s central Sur district.

According to information provided by a soldier who asked to be mentioned anonymous, 30 specialist sergeants from Kayseri 1st Command Brigade were appointed to the town of Sur during the month of January. 28 of these conveyed to high-ranking commanders their refusal to undertake the duty for various reasons.

Upon being informed that such a rejection couldn’t be accepted, 28 soldiers resigned from duty with insistence on not going to Sur and taking part in the onslaught.
