KOBANE (KDN) – Turkish soldiers killed a Kurdish civilian from Kobane on Tuesday, who was trying to cross the border into North Kurdistan in Siftek village in western Kobane.
Kurdish farmers discovered the body of killed Kurdish civilian Remedan Fariq today and informed Asayish of Kobane. Witnesses said that Fariq said that he was going to cross the border into Turkey’s Kurdish region and buy goods for his family, however, never made it back into Kobane.
Kurdish officials also believe that Fariq was shot dead by Turkish forces while heading toward border crossing.
Turkish forces have so far killed dozens of Kurdish civilians from Syrian Kurdistan while letting ISIS terrorists to freely move around in the region.
