YPG: ISIS’ attacks on Tel Abyad foiled, ten terrorists killed

TEL ABYAD (KDN) – ISIS terrorists attacked Kurdish town of Tel Abyad with four vehicles laden with explosives and suicide bombers on Saturday. Kurdish forces prevented the suicide bombers to reach their targets and destroyed one motorbike and two mini vans carrying ten armed ISIS terrorists. No casualties on Kurdish side.

Earlier today, sources in Tel Abyad told Kurdish Daily News that ISIS terrorists attacked Kurdish checkpoints on the Turkish border after entering Tel Abyad from Turkey. Heavy smoke could be seen from Akcakale after the suicide car bombs were hit by Kurdish forces.

One of the suicide bombers managed to cross the border into Turkey and escaped the scene.

Te Abyad was liberated by Kurdish and Euphrates Volcano forces backed by US-led con June 16 after days of heavy fighting with Turkey backed ISIS terror group.
