Diyarbakir (ANF) – HDP Co-President Selahattin Demirtaş attended the commemoration event organized for civilians killed during the HDP rally in Amed, and stated that hundreds of ISIS gangs await orders across Turkey.
‘ONE CHILD CANNOT BE THE BLASTS’ ONLY PERPETRATOR’
Demirtaş criticized the Turkish police’s attempts to prevent the full investigation of the attack by pointing at one child as the only perpetrator, and said that the collaborators and their connections in Antep, Urfa, and Syria must be fully revealed. Demirtaş also criticized the state’s decision to continue the investigation in secrecy, and said that HDP and Kurdish people should be informed since they were the targets of the attack.
‘HUNDREDS OF ISIS CELLS AWAIT ORDERS’
Demirtaş pointed out that such an attack could not have been organized without the collaboration of forces that belong to the state, and said that such dark forces should be revealed immediately. Demirtaş reminded that hundreds of ISIS cells within Turkey await orders, and called for an end to state support for ISIS.
Demirtaş said that the silence of those political parties that have not condemned the attack on HDP in Amed could only be explained through the pleasure these parties felt from HDP sufferings.
Demirtaş also commented on the events in Amed after the elections where İHYA-DER president Aytaç Baran was murdered and 4 HDP members were massacred. Demirtaş reminded the notifications Amed police department had sent to HDP and Hizbullah supporters two days prior to the events in Amed, and said that these efforts point at the organized quality of these murders. Demirtaş said that many Hizbullah supporters in Amed are armed but no HDP supporters is armed or would use violence. Demirtaş invited Hizbullah officials to acknowledge their possible participation in this provocation and apologize from the people of Amed.

Demirtaş reminded that they have never pointed at anyone as targets and would never arm their supporters. Demirtaş invited everyone to expand their political capacities through marches and rallies, not armed confrontation. Demirtaş warned Turkish public of jihadist armament in Turkey, and said that this danger should be prevented as soon as possible.
‘NO COALITION WITH AKP’
Demirtaş stated that coalition dialogues should be based on political debates such as peace process, new constitution, freedom of speech, Kobanê and Gezi resistances, and the Security law package instead of debates on which party will be in charge of which ministry. Demirtaş reminded that they would not form a coalition with AKP.
