ANKARA (DİHA) – Two people, including a soldier, were kidnapped in southeast of the country on May 18 by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), Turkish General Staff (TSK) claimed.
Turkish General Staff (TSK) made a written statement and alleged: “Members of the PKK have kidnapped two people, including a specialist gendarmerie corporal, in the area between Merkez Mescitli village and Bostankent village in the province of Muş. A criminal investigation has been launched in the incident.”
An operation has already initiated in the region after the reports of kidnapping. However, PKK did not publish any statement regarding the incident.
