Iranian army shells PKK and PJAK bases in Kandil

Kandil (KDN) – Kurdish HPG (People’s Defense Forces) Media Center reported earlier today that Iranian army shelled Kandil area on April 25, despite ongoing cease-fire between PJAK and Iranian forces.

HPG said that Iranian troops deployed the posts around the border with Kandil mountains carried out a bombardment with heavy artillery and mortars between 8 am and 6 pm on April 25. The bombardment targeted the areas of Dola Koke and surrounding areas.

According to HPG report, unmanned aerial vehicles of the Iranian army performed reconnaissance flights over the region between 20:30 – 21:30 yesterday evening.
