Austrian School Students in solidarity with the Kurds

Vienna – A group of Austrian students, from Anton-Krieger Gasse in Vienna’s 23rd district, donated a pickup-load of clothes to Kurdish Community Center in Vienna today to be sent to Kurdish refugees fled ISIS massacre in Syria. The School, known for its leftist and political structure, is one of the largest in Vienna with around 1.200 students. They told Kurdish Daily News that some other schools also joined their donation campaign to bring together clothes they handed over to the Kurdish representatives from the Community center. Students, who are part of an organization called “Red Revolution”, promised to continue their efforts to gather more aid for those in need. The cloth packages delivered today, will be sent to Kurdistan by Kurdish aid organization “Roj a Sor” or Red Sun in English.
